CourthouseUSA launches ValueArmor to help Assessors validate and defend commercial assessments

CourthouseUSA, a leading provider of mobile applications for the assessment and real estate communities announces ValueArmor™ is now available through the Hexagon Geospatial Marketplace.

ValueArmor is a web-based tool developed by industry veterans Patrick M O’Connor, Marlene Jeffers, and Billy Burle. Patrick M. O’Connor, developer of the ValueArmor valuation model, is known to the mass appraisal industry as one of the most knowledgeable and respected modelers.  Pat’s direct market model uses the IAAO’s hybrid model format.  This application is unique as it is the first expansion of the geographic area from the local assessment jurisdiction to a statewide geographic coverage. This provides the clients with access to a data set of filtered statewide sales and standard estimates of market value for most commercial and industrial properties within the state. This valuable statewide information, previously not available or accessible, will assist assessors/appraisers with development of local values and defense of large building tax appeals.
